Présentation

Most of this walk is in woodland, with rolling hills and beautiful panoramic views. You'll discover the Bois de la Dame, the Pierre Sanglante, the Forêt du Filan and more...

Undulating with beautiful panoramic views: head for the Pierre Sanglante via the Route de Roche. 800m after the Tennis post, leave the road and turn right onto a good downhill path, with a view of the fortified Pleasure Farm. At the Plaisance sign, go straight ahead on the right-hand track, and just before the road turn right towards the river. 200 m further on, head for the Pierre Sanglante via the Bois de la Dame. After a steep, stony climb, around the 3rd km take the forest track, then the rising path. After a short descent, turn left at Courambeau, then right on the footpath to the Pierre Sanglante. For a panoramic view over the Valdaine plain, go a little further to the pass. Return to the Pierre Sanglante via the path and track in the direction of Le Forillon. 200m after the small pass at le Roc, turn right onto the beautiful forest track and follow it for about 2km. Turn right on the ascending track, then left on the descending track, then the path, then the track, until you reach the road (turn right, CAUTION section on the road). 100 m further on, turn left onto a flat rising path, then onto a stony descending section. At Malaire, turn slightly left uphill on a track, then downhill still on a track. When you reach a small tarmac section, turn left onto a path leading down into the woods. At Moutiers, turn right onto the road, then right again when you reach the house. Follow the road for 300 m, then take a left-hand path downhill and stony, and continue straight on until you reach La Planche. Cross the footbridge and go through the old village, up the narrow streets to the foot of the bell tower and the square. Itinerary on sale at the Mirmande, Livron-sur-Drôme and Loriol-sur-Drôme Tourist Offices.
