Farmstays Les Amanins

Les Amanins is a humanist, sustainable, cooperative and deeply respectful project that bears witness to 20 years of existence. During our farm stays and our discovery weekends, with family, alone or with friends, you will get closer to nature while forging ties. You will also have the opportunity to take the time for simple things such as feeding animals, baking bread, or sharing around food autonomy and solidarity. Our farm stays offer a multitude of possibilities that everyone can enjoy according to their desires and needs of the moment. The story of a meeting, the birth of the agroecological center: The Amanins project was born in 2003 from the meeting of two men, Michel Valentin (a successful entrepreneur and humanist) and Pierre Rabhi (a peasant philosopher) and their desire to work for a more united world that respects Mother Earth. Their objective, through this agroecological center, was to demonstrate a possible reconciliation and cooperation between ecology and economy, a reconciliation between humans and nature. For 20 years, Les Amanins has been a unique place for experimenting and putting agroecological techniques into practice, a space for transmission and education in cooperation, peace and taking care of the environment. The reason for the project: “Which planet will we leave to our children? What children will we leave to the planet? In order to answer this double question, our committed team welcomes and transmits the fruits of its experiments around transition, happy sobriety and cooperation. Les Amanins, an inspiring place of activity, aims to co-build a common future in which humans and nature come together. The place : On a natural setting of 55 hectares, we have eco-renovated and eco-built infrastructures to meet the ecological functions of the project: agricultural production, direct processing of products, reception, accommodation and catering, education... Spaces designed in the aim to respond to the overall coherence of the place: balance with nature and the well-being of the people who work there or come to stay there. This organization allows us to achieve great food self-sufficiency and is proof that agroecology works and is generous in terms of production. We rely on our experience to share with you the fruits of this approach, which offers a holistic approach to agriculture that respects our ecosystem. Les Amanins is a fantastic tool for raising awareness, awakening consciences and inspiring. Our desire is to be able to receive, transmit and let spread the seeds of swarming which will develop elsewhere in many aspects. To do this, we have imagined various reception formats that will allow everyone to find the shoe that suits them (holiday stays on the farm, green seminars, discovery classes, internships and training, events, discovery weekends, visit to the center per day…).
