Présentation

Built in 1910 by architect Mondon (Valence), at the instigation of parish priest Pierre Châtenier, it boasts beautiful, colorful stained-glass windows and a late 18th-century altar from a church in Crest.

As the village of Soyans moved down to the plain in the 19th century, to Talon (a district already mentioned in 1640), the center of the commune included a hamlet that today extends around the town hall and the new church. Nearby, the new cemetery, opened in 1938, preserves a rare 3m-high cross dating from 1624. It originally adorned a crossroads and features rich cast-iron decoration.
