Standing atop a small, craggy hillock, the church is located outside the village, on a pass in the south-western foothills of the Vercors. This former 12th-century priory was part of the Cluny abbey. Cruciform in plan, it comprises a single nave with three bays. The arms of the transept open onto cul-de-four absidioles. The church is built in small to medium-sized units of local white or bluish limestone rubble. A Romanesque inscription to the right of the entrance commemorates the church's founders: "Lord Béranger and his son Irpin".
