It is in this house that Antoine de Pluvinel, a squire of King Henry III, lived. This former mansion kept its buildings, its courtyard and its residential part.
The house once belonged to the Pluvinel family (1610-1676), members of the Grenoble Parliament and devotees of the Crest Chapter, then to the Latune family (1765-1829 and 1835-1900). This mansion is typical of its type, with its main buildings, courtyard and rear residential area opening onto gardens.
Its street façade is remarkable, with a vast carriage entrance framed by large ashlars and a moulded cornice. The portal is formed of large, beautiful stones separated by notches.
The door is made of noble oak wood, beautifully crafted.
To the left was once the door to the janitor's apartment; today, it is the entrance to a pharmacy belonging to the former mayor of Crest, Dr. Rozier.
