Présentation

It is a 2nd-century mausoleum; two parts are in Aouste and another one is in the museum of Avignon. Originally, the whole must have been 6 m long. On two elements we can read "Dionisus fils très pieux" and "Cnaeus julius a fait de son vivant".

It's a 2nd-century mausoleum, two parts of which are in Aouste and another in the Calvet Museum in Avignon. Originally, the mausoleum was 6m long. Dionisus fils très pieux" ("Dionisus son very pious") and "Cnaeus julius a fait de son vivant" ("Cnaeus julius made during his lifetime") are written on the two Aoustois parts.
