This walk takes you into the heart of the Ramières nature reserve. Be on the lookout for beavers as you cross the river!
From Place du Champs de Mars, take the Roche sur Grâne road to the lake, as far as the Tennis sign.
Turn left onto chemin de la Tourache as far as the stream. Turn left, then left again onto the main road.
After the bridge, turn right onto the small road, and 400m further on, turn right to cross the road DANGER!
Stay on the narrow road, then turn left at the next crossroads. Drive alongside the house, staying on the road, then continue straight ahead on the road and a good path.
When you reach the dike, turn left onto the footpath, then straight on. At the La Digue houses, turn left.
Go straight on to Grands Prés. At Grands Prés, turn right onto the track, cross the main road and the river at the footbridge. Immediately afterwards, turn right along the riverbank onto a narrow, playful path to Lac des Freydières.
Keep left to take the path back to the parking lot, leaving it on the track to Les Freydières on the Chemin du Grand Alignement.
Cross the ford and, at the road opposite, stay on the road. At the fork, in front of the houses, turn right up the main road. Turn left into the side lane, then left onto the small path and the slide to go under the bridge.
Follow the gardens to the left, cross the cemetery road and 300m further on, turn left over the footbridge to La Planche.
Cross the old village by the lane, after the porch, turn left twice to reach the Rue du Bourg, then right into the Grande Rue, still uphill to pass the foot of the bell tower and arrive at the square.
