Between river, lake and nature reserve, this walk is for nature lovers and all those who want to discover the riches of the Drôme ecosystem.
From the Tourist Office, take rue du Parc, turn right at the stop sign, and opposite the gendarmerie, take allée des Roses.
On rue Bompart, turn left to join the RN7. Walk past the Peugeot garage and down the lane to the right of the RN7 bridge, towards the former Petite Gare.
Before the little house, turn right onto the embankment beside the Drôme. Follow the river to its confluence with the Rhône, towards Via Rhôna and Ile de Printegarde.
After the weir (fish pass), continue for 150m and climb the left-hand extension of the dike (access forbidden to vehicles), continuing straight on until you reach the footbridge.
Don't cross the footbridge, but take the path that descends shortly afterwards, on your right, and follow the Petit Rhône in the direction of La Voulte. At the end of this path, turn left, go down and pass in front of the mobile dam.
Go back up and turn right, taking the path through the small wood and then along the Petit Rhône again. You're now in the Ile de Printegarde nature reserve. When you reach the road bridge over the Petit Rhône, cross it in the direction of Livron and immediately turn left, level with the bridge, onto the path that continues towards Les Petits Robins.
From the lake, join the hamlet of Les Petits Robins, to return to Livron via the plain.
Tip: Lac des Petits Robins, ideal for fishing and picnics - swimming prohibited: fishing lake - vacation or day fishing cards on sale at the Livron Tourist Office.
