In the cool and shaded atmosphere of the gorges, mosses grow on the shores of the waterfalls of the Big and Small "Pissoire".They grow in thick bushes that petrify under water. That is how the tuf is created. The gorges are also famous for climbing: the cliff of Ansage and the "Moulin de la Pipe", an inn where you can eat or stay in on the shores of the Gervanne river. The gorges of Omblèze are listed because of their interesting landscape.
