Situated in the lower Drôme valley, between Crest and Livron, the Ramières nature reserve is one of 20 river bank nature reserves in France. Throughout the length of the reserve, the river invites you to discover its very varied flora and fauna.
There are populations of various kinds of fish, including the rare Apron du Rhône. Many birds find abundant food resources here: grey heron, little egret, greater egret, little ringed plover and red kite. The reserve is also a migration flight resting place for many smaller wading birds: woodcock and common snipe.
Guided tours by appointment. Discover the flora and fauna (migrating birds and beavers). There is a programme of nature walks for all audiences throughout the year. There are also trails (Mountain bikes, touring bikes and on foot).
