Présentation
Saoû's emblematic rock, 501m high, forms the south-western extremity of the perched syncline and the gateway to the Vèbre valley. It is composed of Turonian limestone, a rigid, brittle material. Hamlet perched on its slopes.
It is not possible to climb it. It's part of the perched syncline of the Saoû forest, classified as a Sensitive Natural Area.
